Calm, collected rooms — built to be lived in slowly.
Arc Interiors is the studio of Diana Basily — considered, collected interiors for homes across Long Island's North Shore, the Hamptons, and New York.
Designer, project manager, and someone who believes a home should feel personal, collected, and quietly unforgettable.
If someone asked me what I love most about design, it wouldn't be choosing finishes or furniture. It's solving spaces.
I've always been fascinated by the challenge of looking at a room and seeing possibilities where others see limitations. That's what first drew me to architecture and later led me into project management, where I learned how to bring ideas to life while balancing budgets, schedules, and the countless moving pieces behind every successful project.
At the same time, creativity found another home through floral design. Working with flowers taught me to appreciate softness, movement, texture, and the beauty that comes from thoughtful composition. It changed the way I looked at design.
Today, those experiences shape everything I do. I approach every interior with the discipline of an architect and the eye of an artist. I enjoy uncovering the potential in every space — especially the ones that seem the most challenging. Some of my favorite designs have started with an awkward layout, an existing feature, or a detail someone else wanted to hide.
To me, those aren't flaws. They're the beginning of something beautiful.
A selection of Diana's floral and event work — the texture, composition, and quiet movement that now shape every room.
Thoughtful design is never accidental — it is the quiet result of experience, discipline, and a deep appreciation for beauty in every form.
The discipline of structure, proportion, light, and scale that grounds every beautiful space.
Softness, movement, and texture — the beauty of natural forms and harmony in the smallest details.
Where it all comes together — structure and softness woven into homes that feel timeless and lived in.
Long before the plans, materials, or furnishings, we take the time to understand your vision, your goals, and the experience you want the space to create. That understanding becomes the foundation for every decision that follows.
